Our Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Our Nigerian Dwarf goats are one of the first animals we added to our homestead. We began with our four goats— Prudence, Mildred, Clementine, and Jeffrey. Since then, our core herd has grown year after year!

All of our goats are socialized and trained to milk. They receive the best hay— according to their demands! All goats are given a dairy breed feed and supplemented with alfalfa to produce the highest quality goat milk. Goats love to browse, so we ensure they are often rotated through paddocks and woodlands, and sometimes a select few get to free range!

We breed two herds for kiddings twice per year. This allows us to always have fresh milk for our body

care product line. We go above and beyond to make sure our goats have the best lives, pregnancies, and births.

Nigerian Dwarves are considered a heritage breed in America, and they are currently a protected breed by the Livestock Conservancy but are recovering.

Fun Facts!

Nigerian Dwarves can live up to 15 years! The oldest we have had was 16 years old.

They average 1-4 babies per birth. Only Mildred has ever given us quads!

They will grow no taller than 23 inches! They might be tricker to milk, but their milk is sweet and high in butterfat!

At this time, we have paused on selling our Nigerian Dwarf babies to grow out replacements of our current breeding stock. Check back in the future for available Dwarves!
